![]() I still think that the Soulkeeper isn’t really useable by Demonology and Destruction because it doesn’t generate or spend shards and will only be used by Affliction. ![]() The buffs to Inquisitor’s Gaze and Summon Soulkeeper are welcome. The loss of those 2 flex points are especially annoying for Affliction that most of the time has to spend a point into Grim Feast. Those 2 new talents Socrethar’s Guille and Sargerei Technique are very powerful, and they completely outshine in terms of power Demonic Inspiration and Wrathful Minion (Those 2 new talents could have simply be baseline buffs to those spells, instead of removing flexibility from the class tree.įor that reason, I think it would be nice if Wrathful Minion and Demonic Inspiration were merged into a single talent, as to give us back a point that we can use to get cool utility/mobility/CC, etc. So we’ve lost 2 “flex” points that could go into cool stuff like Fiendish Stride or Fel Pact or Amplify Curse, etc.Īccrued Vitality and Lifeblood become as inaccessible as the old talents they’re replacing and we’ve lost flexibility which my biggest concern. However replacing those with throughput talents means that now we have to spend 2 extra mandatory points in the class tree, because we’ll want to spend 4 points to get the 2 for the extra damages. So Accrued Vitality and Lifeblood were “annoying” because they are very niche and or quite weak, and we had to pay a tax of 2 points in one or the other to get to the last section of the tree. Moving Accrued Vitality and Lifeblood and replacing those with throughput talents, Socrethar’s Guile and Sargerei Technique is I think not very good. Nightmare at 2 points was way too expensive for what it did/does, so it seems good. The change to Nightmare and the return of Horrify is more about PVP, and I don’t have an opinion about those for that reason. Those were underwhelming talents, very expensive given how weak they were, and very hard to get to. The removal of Desperate Pact, Gorefiend’s Resolve and Greater Banish make sense. Now that I’ve had the opportunity to test the changes on the PTR, here’s some feedback about Warlock with the current changes for 10.0.7.
